Three
Steps To A Responsive, Profitable
List
|
If
you've been in Internet marketing for any
length of time, you know how important it is to
have a list. Building and maintaining a list
are essential parts of the online money making
process. But the one of the things that gets
overlooked frequently is making a list into a
responsive, profitable list. The quality of
your list is just as, if not more, important
than the size of your list. It doesn't matter
how big your list is if they don't respond to
your offers. Internet marketing is all about
trust. When people join your list, they are
looking for what you promised them.

They aren't looking to
be sold to time and time again. They want information, and it's
your job to provide accurate and helpful information. When you
do this over a period of time, your list members will begin to
trust you and rely on your information. The next you have a
product suggestion or release a new product, they'll trust your
recommendation and purchase!
When you build a
responsive list, you're building a profitable list as well. After
you've put forward the time and effort to build trust with
your list, you'll be able to make money with just the
click of a mouse. You can send an e-mail and make some
sales.
If you're starting a new
list, or if you want to revive the list that you already have,
use these steps to make sure it's responsive and
profitable.
1.Give a lot of value
You'll never make any money from your list if you can't keep
your members subscribed. If you have a lot of people leaving
your list, you have to ask yourself if you are providing the
type of value that you should. Get to know your niche
intimately and understand what kind of information they are
looking for. Compile special reports or, at the very least,
articles that will inform your list and remind them why they
are your subscriber.
2.Ask them what they
want
A lot of marketers make the mistake of thinking that list
marketing goes one way - their message to the subscribers. Give
your subscribers a platform to express their feelings and wants
and they'll appreciate you. Make good use of surveys to
understand where your list is coming from and what they want.
You can even get your list to give you ideas for the types of
products they'd buy, and then turn around and create those
products. Your subscribers will appreciate knowing that you are
there to listen to them.
3.Stay connected
Have you ever received an e-mail from a marketer and wondered
"Who is this person and when did I join their list?" This
happens most often when a marketer forgets to send regular
messages out to their lists. There is so much going on online
you have to stay connected with your list if you ever hope to
build trust. Plan your messages and pre-load them into your
autoresponder so that your list knows who you are and what
you're about. If you offer them quality content on a consistent
schedule, you'll have a responsive and profitable
list.
